Bio: I created the blog name "Grits and Rice" to connect my Southern Heritage to my life in Asia. Grits are a food that are unique to the south, and can even be said to be distinctly "American" cuisine. Rice on the other hand, is the staple food of Asia. As a Girl Raised in The South (a GRIT), I want to connect the two worlds I occupy. I hope my stories can inspire people to get out and travel.
